I noticed a new Maybelline display at my Fred Myers grocery store tonight. It was a large display with baked eyeshadows, Fitme blushes, 2 nail polishes and 4 colorsensational lipsticks. I purchased three of the lipsticks and found out that two of them are very, very close dupes to MAC's Naughty Saute and Dish it up lipsticks from the Shop shop shop/Cook cook cook collection. These lipsticks are sold out, so if you didn't get your hands on them, hopefully you can find these Maybelline lipsticks! These don't look EXACTLY the same swatched, but on the lips you can't tell them apart! Enjoy the swatches!

Update: These Maybelline lipsticks have awesome staying power! They stain your lips almost the same way the new MAC matte lipsticks do. I am really impressed with the formula and staying power!

I also picked up Maybelline Coral Carnation #10 lipstick. It's not a dupe for anything in my collection, but I did a comparison swatch just incase anyone was interested. Enjoy!

Hey! I love your blog, I was thinking about buying Mac's Naughty Saute but after seeing the maybelliene dupe I might be a bit more drawn to that one! Nice swatches, but the photos are kind of unclear, I suggest you upgrade camera? :) I followed :) x
ReplyDeleteHey Amelia. I hope you can find the Maybelline dupe! I'm not sure if it's limited edition. Thanks for following my blog! As far as a new camera, that would be nice. I do the best I can on photos and it's also difficult because I live in Alaska and the lighting sucks. I try to only post pictures that look accurate though. I don't have a penny off my blog, so it's hard for me to justify spending a lot on a nice camera. Good news is, we are moving to South Texas in May and there will be plenty of sunlight, which should improve my photos! :-) :-)
