Well, this is an odd product. There is nothing purple whatsoever about Paradisso Purple. The lipstick is clear! It reminds me of the popsicle lipsticks that Revlon came out with last year. On my hand this swatches as a nice, wearable pink. On my lips, I look like a freaking clown. It turns into the brightest hot pink I've ever seen. It actually made me laugh out loud. I wouldn't recommend this at all. The swatch compared to the lipstick in the tube is confusing! They are so different! Enjoy the swatch!

I literally just received my own hot hues in the mail since they haven't hit my Sephora store yet. I've only tried the Coral so far, but was surprised to see a rather cool pink hue! Haha. Apparently there were problems manufacturing colors + making these things transparent, I guess. Haven't worn it long but in the first 10 minutes I'm pretty pleased with the sheer stain effect I have going on.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I take that back a bit. I swiped some of the coral off to try the Pink color. The Coral is in fact warmer by comparison. Though the overall look is still what I would consider in the bright pink family, not very orangey. I'm scared of the fuchsia I bought, though, after your experience with the purple.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are having a better experience then I did. Let me know how the fuchsia one works for you. I am still so confused by Paradisso Purple. I mean, it is purple in the tube, sheer pink on my hand, and scary loud hot pink on the lips. I actually loved the clear lipsticks that revlon came out with that looked like popsicles. Those were the perfect pinkish/wearable stain. :)
