NOTD: Essie Play Date (swatch)

This is one of the newest Essie polishes from the Go Overboard Collection!  When I saw this online, it just looked like another pastel purple to me.  I can't pull off pastel colors very well and didn't think this would work for me.  When I saw it in person, it was nothing like I expected.  It's like a more vibrant pastel!  I love it and I can pull it off!  The formula of this polish was the best Essie formula I've used.  It applied like butter and wasn't streaky at all.  It was opaque in two coats!  Enjoy the swatch!

    I took this out of my TD order not that long ago. I'm starting to regret doing that based off yours and a few other reviews! Its so pretty.

      awwww, well you might not regret it if you have colors like it. I thought it was pretty unique though and I obviously have a lot of nail polish! Can you pull off the pale pastels? I wish I could, but I can't (well, not unless I have some sun....which I currently don't!) :-)
