New Wet n Wild Nail Polish! (swatches)

There was a large display of glitter polishes from Wet n Wild at my grocery store for $1.99 each.  In the bottles, they all looked very similar.  I picked up the colors Jewels for your highness and Speak when spoken to.  My favorite of the two is Speak when spoken to because the duochrome is more noticeable in that one.  I couldn't caputure on camera how pretty these both are.  They are obviously super glittery, but they also have a duochrome effect that really cool when you get it in the sunlight.  They have a gritty texture after the polishes dry, which doesn't both me much.  Enjoy the swatches!

New Milani Eyeshadows in Peaches & Cream and Antigua (swatches)!

Wow, these sure caught my eye on the display.  There were several other shades as well and it was hard to pick just two.  When I brought these home and swatched them, I was pretty bummed.  These are worthless when used dry.  It's just a glittery mess and you get no color payoff.  However, when you use these wet, they are AMAZING!!!  I just spray MAC Fix + on my hand, dab my eyeshadow brush in the Fix +, then go into the eyeshadow.  There was close to no fall out when applied wet.   Antiqua is so gorgeous it's not even funny!  Enjoy the swatches!

New Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Amber Nectar (Swatch/Photos)!

I have really been enjoying this new face powder by Milani!   I picked up the shade Amber Nectar.  I've been wearing it as a blush/highlight and love how natural it looks.  The packaging is super cute and what I love about this is that it's not super shimmery.   It just has the slightest sheen to it that gives you a healthy glow.  This powder is actually quite buildable and you can make it light or more intense.  I found it to be very creamy and pigmented.  I found this on an end aisle display at my grocery store, so I'm not sure how new it is.  The display had one other shade as well.  Enjoy the photos and swatch!

Susan Posnick Lipstick Swatches!

These are the first lipsticks I've ever tried from Susan Posnick.  All three of these are supposed to be suitable for all skin tones.  I agree and think that all three shades that I purchased are very wearable!  I heard a lot of great reviews about these lipsticks and decided to give them a try.  They are very moisturizing and what I love most about them is that they have a glossy finish to them, which makes your lips look slightly fuller.  I picked up the shades Dubai, South Beach and Dallas.  They had decent staying power for being so glossy.  They lasted longer on me than a MAC lustre finish lipstick would.  These lipsticks average around $19 each.  I like the packaging as well because it has a magnetic top, so the cap won't come off in your purse!

Enjoy the swatches!

NOTD: Essie No More Film (swatch)

I actually like this polish more than I thought I would!  In some lighting it looks like a deep blue, in other lighting it looks like a dark purple.  Either way, I love it and it has a great shine to it!  It was pretty much opaque in one coat, but I used two!  Enjoy the swatch!

Hanskin Super Magic & Skin 79 BB cream Review/Swatches!

I am a huge fan of BB creams because they are such a great one step product.  When I use a BB cream, I can skip the moisturizer and primer!  BB creams typically only come in one shade, but don't let that scare you away if you have fair to medium skin.  I always use my MAC MSF Natural over the BB cream and it matches perfectly.

SKIN 79: I have used the Skin 79 (hot pink bottle) for over six months now.  It is pretty gray when I blend it into my skin.  It has to be set with a powder foundation or MSF Natural.   It has a very dewy (almost tacky/wet) finish, but once I set it with my MSF Natural I love it!  I don't get oily at all during the day and it doesn't accentuate my pores at all!  I would compare the consistency of this to a tinted moisturizer.  It has very light coverage. I have really enjoyed the Skin 79 BB cream and recently tried a sample of the gold version.  I found them to wear exactly the same on my skin.

Hanskin Super Magic:  This one is much different than the Skin 79.  It has a completely different consistency.  It is actually a bit strange when applying it.  It is thicker than the Skin 79 and it is more difficult to blend into your skin.  It feels much more like a foundation, while the Skin 79 feels like a tinted moisturizer.  Hanskin Super Magic applies best for me when I use my fingers and dab it into my skin as opposed to rubbing it in.  It actually has really great coverage and it isn't gray like the Skin 79.  I could actually wear this alone without setting it with my MAC MSF Natural.  The Hanskin actually minimizes my pores (which has never happened before)!  The only downside is that it settles into the fine lines around my eyes, so now I avoid that area.  I would have to say this is my favorite BB cream so far because of the added coverage that it gives and the way it minimizes my pores!

Just an FYI I have also tried two of the Dr. Jart BB Creams as well as Boscia and ended up returning those because they broke me out.

Here are side by side swatches of the BB creams mentioned:
