NOTD: Essie Alligator Purse (swatch & comparison)

I really love Essie's Alligator Purse nail polish because it is so different compared to all of my other reds.  Alligator purse is a deep orange/red shade.  The formula is good and opaque in 2 coats.   I think this nail polish would look great as a pop of color if you were wearing a neutral outfit.  Enjoy the swatch!

NOTD: Revlon Sparkling over OPI Not so Bora-Bora-ing Pink! (Swatch)

Today I layered Revlon Sparkling over OPI Not so Bora-Bora-ing Pink!  I used one coat of each polish!  Revlon Sparkling is a dupe for the Deborah Lippmann polish called Some Enchanted Evening.

Sleek Storm Palette Swatches & Review

I own the Sleek Storm Palette and the Sleek Au Naturel Palette and this one is my favorite by a landslide!  The Storm Palette is so creamy and pigmented!  I love how the Storm Palette has 2 matte shades for blending!  You can see my review and swatches of the Au Naturel Palette here!

Enjoy the swatches!

Sleek Au Naturel Palette Swatches & Review

I purchased this palette from the Sleek website a few month ago.  I had heard so many good things about the Sleek palettes, I had to see what all the hype was about.  While this is a nice palette, the first 5 shadows in the top row are not pigmented at all.  In order for me to even swatch those on my arm, I had to swatch them at least 5-7 times to get it to show up enough to see.  They don't feel as creamy as I expected them to either.  I honesty rarely reach for this palette because I have so many others I think are better.  I don't think anyone needs to go out of their way to hunt this palette down.  There are so many better neutral palettes available in the US.  Even Wet n Wild has better palettes as far as pigmentation and quality.  Enjoy the swatches!

I also own the Sleek Storm palette, which is a much better quality palette in my opinion.  See the review & swatches here!

Revlon Whimsical #430 Swatch & Layering Combo

I've been wanting this polish for so long!  I REFUSED to pay out the ying yang on Ebay for it.  I knew my store would get it eventually.  I believe this is permanent now too!  I layered this over Sally Hansen's Barracuda, which is just a creme light pastel blue.  I really love the combo and I can't wait to rock this in the spring.  Who am I kidding....I'll probably wear it this week!  Enjoy the swatches!

NEW Revlon Nail Polish in Sparkling #261 (Swatch & Comparison)

Revlon has released a lot of really nice glitter polishes in the past year and Sparkling is one of the newer ones released.  I'm pretty sure this is a permanent color since it was in the main dislay and not a limited edition display.  I thought I had something similar and it turns out I don't.  I tried layering it over a light pink polish and it really didn't make that much of a difference.  I think this will look really pretty on the nails alone for a subtle sparkle!  I applied 2 coats, but I think I will use 3 when I wear it.  I will update with another photo when I apply this to my nails.  Enjoy the swatches!

NEW Revlon Colorstay Nail Polish in Rain Forest (Swatch)

Revlon recently released with Colorstay Nail Polish collection.  I was anxious to try these out since they claim to last 10+ days.  My polish rarely lasts 3 days without chipping, so I would be amazed if it even lasted 6 days on me.  I will update this post on how the wear time is.

I only picked up one polish because these are $6.99 and only 0.4oz compared to the regular Revlon polishes that are around $4.99 and 0.5oz.  There were several colors that caught my eye that I might pick up eventually, but Rain Forest stood out the most to me today.  The formula is pretty thick, but still needed 2 coats to be completely opaque.  This polish took FOREVER to dry!  It was kind of ridiculous.  Maybe that has to do with the new long lasting formula?  Enjoy the swatch!
